As you can see, the Star can be wall mounted if your property requires it but it is usually floor mounted and it's most popular use is attached to a dwarf wall in a conservatory.

It comes in two different power rating models. A 2.1 Kw unit producing 7200 Btu's (for rooms up to 50 sq m*) or a 2.4 Kw unit producing 8200 Btu's (for rooms up to 57 sq m).

The unit is smooth and quiet, with a night time setting for extra quiet running. It is remote control operated and can also be programmed to come on and off at times to suit you. This can be useful for automatically heating or cooling a bedroom before bedtime, or cooling a conservatory ready for when you get home from work.

Installation can be done by a DIY enthusiast or local builder and again we have a short animation to show you what is involved.

An elegant, self contained unit simply requiring two vents through an external wall, the UNICORN SKYE provides an effective and efficient air conditioning solution without the need for pipework or external condensers usually associated with installed systems.

As the two discreet grilles that cover the vents are the only external evidence of air conditioning, visual integrity of the building is maintained. This is of particular benefit where planning permission is a consideration.

The unit is supplied ready for low level mounting. Once the position of the unit has been decided, simply drill the vents, fix the bracket and install your climate control solution.

When the Skye operates in cooling only mode, condensate is removed through water evaporation on the condenser, therefore a drainage pipe is unnecessary. When working in heat pump mode, condensate removal is through a drainage pipe.

Access to the outside of the building is required when installing the fresh air kit.
